Sofia and Ann

Sofia Pernas was born in Morocco. She relocated to California when she was five. She was raised mainly on the coast of Orange County. She graduated in 2015 from the University of California San Diego and was able to make her first breakthrough acting. Pernas was a guest on a couple of episodes on NCIS and Leverage after which she was offered the role as Marisa for The Young and the Restless. The actress, who walked away from The soap after 2016, landed the role as Catalina in the role of a regular on Jane the Virgin. The star of the show Pernas first began dating Justin Hartley in the wake of her breakup with Chrishell Stase, whom she had been married to in November of this year. News was reported in April 2021, that Pernas and Hartley had recently tied the knot at a secret wedding.
