Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat
Madekwe was born South London, England into an ethnically diverse family. She's English but her father was Nigerian. She was born in the South London community estate, and when she was fourteen, she attended The Brit School. It was the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art was where she received the BA in acting. While at school she appeared in numerous stage plays, including King Henry V's princess Katherine or Wuthering Heights.
Madekwe's acting career started in the series Storm Damage. In the years since Madekwe's appearance in Teachers as well as Doctors. Her breakthrough role came in 2007's Woody Allen movie Cassandra's Dream. It was in the role of Colin Farrell (who played the character of Cassandra) and Ewan McGrath. In the following film, she played Elisha on a BBC Three pilot drama, in West 10 LDN. In her role, she also played Ollie in the six episodes from Trexx, Flipside, and Flipside. In 2008, she got Bambi's character on ITV2 Drama Series Secret Diary of a Call Girl. Madekwe was in two series, 2 and 3. Madekwe was a part of the comedy film How to Lose Friends & Alienate People. She has performed as a character in Little Sweet Thing, by Roy Williams, and Flight Path which was written composed by David Watson.
Madekwe was cast as Ashley Davenport in the ABC show The Beautiful Life. The two-episode show aired only for 2 weeks at The CW and then it came to an end. In February of 2011, she was cast as Ashley Davenport in the ABC drama series Revenge. After appearing on the show for the first two seasons it was announced in May 2013 that Madekwe would leave the show after an appearance as a guest in the pilot episode from the 3rd season. From 2014 until 2016she appeared in Salem on the CW as Tituba. Madekwe wed her actor boyfriend Iddo goldberg on June 2012. They've collaborated in the show Secret Diary of a Call Girl as well as he was a character on the TV series Salem.
Ashley Leggat, a twice Gemini nominated actress, is a member of a large family in Hamilton, Ontario. Her parents, Roy and Patty along with the four brothers of her, Brett, Todd, and Bram who were also present. Ashley's siblings, who are all athletic, played baseball during the summer and played hockey in winters. Ashley never actually walked -she was a dancer, and when she was 2 1/2 years old she started Baby Ballet -and she fell in love with. Ashley fell in love with dancing at the age of. Ashley continued to perform competitively throughout high school in top divisions such as ballet, tap, Jazz, Pointe, Acrobatics, Musical Theatre, Lyrical Hip Hop and many more. Additionally, she was awarded the top awards for soloists in every important dance competitions including International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers 56-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance, among others.
